4 Howls: Need a Job

So, I'm Mercedes Thompson and I need a job. Back home I'm a mechanic - VW's mostly, but I worked on all the German cars. Yes, yes, go ahead, heaven knows I've never heard the 'Mercedes, the Volkswagen mechanic' jokes before.

I know there aren't many cars here unfortunately, but hey, I'm good with my hands and someone pointed out I could probably fix heating and cooling systems or do building maintenance type stuff.

Other than that, I'm very organized (if you ignore my room at home), I have a purple belt in an obscure martial arts form, and, well, a history degree - specializing mostly in European history. Don't ask about the last, I spent enough time arguing with my mother about why I'm not using that degree.

I'm very responsible and have a tendency to do more than I strictly need to do, which I'm told employers tend to like.

Anyway, there's my job plea.

This may be an odd question but by alpha male, did you mean that in a more literal sense of the word? That they aren't exactly human or something?

I've known some shape shifters, one that could turn into a wolf. I'm guessing they're of different packs then? Must be awkward.

Adam's the Alpha of the local pack. Samuel's actually more dominant, but he's there as a lone wolf, separate from the pack.

Which answers your other question. Wolves, by nature, hate coyotes. Kill them on sight a lot.

I...touch people and absorb their memories and powers if they have them. Up until a week or so ago I couldn't control it so I couldn't touch a person skin to skin. That was one of the reasons a relationship with Remy was difficult.

Yeah. If I do it too often I get really tired, but I'm not like the werewolves who can take 8 or more minutes to shift and it's painful. Mine's pretty much instaneous. Tingles a little, but that's it. I'm also born and not made.

Well, they do turn into 200 pound fighting machines and have super strength and super healing properties.

I turn into a 32 pound coyote and I can run fast. So...

I'm not entirely sure why he's interested in me. But I'm afraid I'm half in love with both of them.
