And here would be a coyote playing in the snow. Running, leaping over drifts, digging in the snow and throwing it up in the air with her muzzle...
She was warm and enjoying herself greatly, but it wouldn't be too long before she headed inside and shifted back to make herself some hot chocolate and doze by the fire.

[Of course he was just wearing the tank and sweatpants he'd slept in. But he leaned down to pick up some snow and tossed it in her direction.]

Re: [Action]
Date: Wednesday, July 7th, 2010 04:43 pm (UTC)Not a coffee person, but thanks. I'm going to make some hot coffee.
She tossed him a towel in case he needed it to dry off from the melting snow, and rubbed at her hair with another.

Date: Saturday, July 10th, 2010 01:58 am (UTC)When I was little we never had a fireplace. But my grandma did. Loved going over there in the wintertime and for holidays. So when I got my own place in Virginia, I made sure it had a fireplace. They just make a house feel even more homey, I think.

Date: Saturday, July 10th, 2010 02:03 am (UTC)I grew up in the wilds of Montana. We always had a fire in the fireplace. I used to help my foster father chop and stack wood. He always used to say it warms you three times. Once when you cut it, once when you stack it, and then when you burn it.

Re: [Action]
Date: Saturday, July 10th, 2010 03:04 pm (UTC)My foster father. I never knew my biological father. He died just a few days after he and my mother got together. And no. He... committed suicide after his wife died.
I was 14.
