63 Howls: Accidental Video
And here would be a coyote playing in the snow. Running, leaping over drifts, digging in the snow and throwing it up in the air with her muzzle...
She was warm and enjoying herself greatly, but it wouldn't be too long before she headed inside and shifted back to make herself some hot chocolate and doze by the fire.

>Ah! I'm doing well, thank you. [faint smile] But I'm worried about the others, I've been hearing that their friends are acting strange lately... I hope things will get better for them soon.

Re: [Action]
She moved closer, ducking down to thrust her muzzle into the snow playfully and fling it at him.

Mercy?
[Yeah, he hoped no one was watching him talk to the coyote just in case it wasn't her. They might think he was a little crazy.]

Hey! That's cold.
[Of course he was just wearing the tank and sweatpants he'd slept in. But he leaned down to pick up some snow and tossed it in her direction.]

Re: [Action]
She did worry a bit about him getting cold, but she figured he was smart enough to know when he needed to go in. And she'd probably go in when he did.
[Action]
Alright, alright. Now I gotta go get coffee to warm up.
Re: [Action]
[Action]
Want some coffee?
Re: [Action]
Not a coffee person, but thanks. I'm going to make some hot coffee.
She tossed him a towel in case he needed it to dry off from the melting snow, and rubbed at her hair with another.
Thanks for soming out to play. That was fun.

[He was surprised to hear her voice and turned around, already sipping at the steaming cup of coffee. He caught the towel with one hand and moved to the fireplace to start a fire. It would feel really nice to sit next to one right now.]
Re: [Action]
You read my mind. I figured I'd play for a while then come in and get a mug of hot chocolate and stretch out in front of the fire for a while.
[Action]
[He casts Mercy a grin and only towels off once he has the fire lit. Its warmth really feels good against his skin.]
Re: [Action]
Oh, so very nice!

When I was little we never had a fireplace. But my grandma did. Loved going over there in the wintertime and for holidays. So when I got my own place in Virginia, I made sure it had a fireplace. They just make a house feel even more homey, I think.
Re: [Action]
I grew up in the wilds of Montana. We always had a fire in the fireplace. I used to help my foster father chop and stack wood. He always used to say it warms you three times. Once when you cut it, once when you stack it, and then when you burn it.
[Action]
I like that. Sounds like your father was a wise man. Or is he? He still around where you're from?
Re: [Action]
My foster father. I never knew my biological father. He died just a few days after he and my mother got together. And no. He... committed suicide after his wife died.
I was 14.
[Action]
Yeah, no one should have to go through that.
Re: [Action]
It was tough, but I got through it, and you know what they say about whatever doesn't kill us...
