I, um... just want you to know that as far as I'm concerned, that never happened. I mean, it did, but it was just the curse and not something, well... real. I just don't want us feeling all awkward about it okay?

Things are... very different back home. If I'd been with one of the werewolves and I'd even flirted with someone else... the guy would be a goner. And I'd be in big trouble.

I know what it is. Kirk fills some void she didn't know was there. If she stays with him, she doesn't have to lose it. If she chooses Brennan, she does. If she stays with Kirk, Brennan will never leave her side anyway, so she wins all around.
