36 Howls: Mistletoe??

There seems to be mistletoe everywhere, all over the house and even the garage. I tried taking it down in the garage, but everytime I turned around it was back, so I gave up and just let it be. I suppose it is a bit festive.

[Mercy was certainly in no hurry to let him up for air. Her hands slid up his back, holding him close as they kissed.]

[He's more than fine being moved around and if she's telling him to stay in her space, he's going to do just that. Priestly nips at her lip lightly as he wraps his arms around her shoulders to hold her to him.]

[She moaned into his mouth, wishing she could run her fingers through his hair. He felt so good, smelled so good, tasted so good...]

[Priestly's pretty sure this is the best day ever. The little noises she's making prompt him to gently coax her lips open with his pierced tongue. He's not usually one for leading but he can't really help it and he turns them, to lean her against the doorjamb.]

[The added support leaves Mercy free to arch into him, wrapping on leg around him as she opens her mouth under his. She just can't seem to get close enough.]

[It's his turn to moan a little in reaction to the leg suddenly pulling him closer and again when she grazes his lip ring. He pulls away to look at her for a second and grin like an idiot.]

We should've tried this before.

[She barely had time to murmur that before they were off again on another round of fervent kissing.]

[In a rare feat of manliness, Priestly's hands make their way to Mercy's waist and hoist her upward to give himself more leverage and even out the height difference.

With the new easy access to her neck, he takes a moment to pay some attention to it, sucking a nice purple mark under her jaw.]

[She moaned again, arching her neck to give him better access as her fingers dug into his shoulders to urge him on.]

[He grunts at her fingers in his skin and swings her around again, further inside and away from the mistletoe. Priestly works his way back to her mouth again, nibbling at her lips happily.

Then he freezes in place, lips still attached to hers and eyes wide, now that they're out of reach of the cursed plant.]

[Mercy froze herself as soon as they were away from the plant. She gasped, pulling her mouth away from his and wriggling to be out of his grasp.]

Priestly! What are we...?!

[He lets go as soon as she begins to move and takes three major steps away from her. His hands go up into the air as if he's being arrested.]

[She put her hands over her face, then her eyes went wide and she moved one to her neck before dashing to the bathroom to look in the mirror.]

Oh, hell! You gave me a hickey! How am I -? Thomas is going to freak!

[She was running her hands through her hair, trying to convince herself as well as him.]

It's a curse, he'll understand. We didn't do anything on purpose, it just, it just happened and as soon as we realized we stopped.

[She was shaking her head almost as soon as he started.]

[He's edging toward the door now, except the mistletoe's still there.]

I mean, that other night, that was one thing because we were both, you know - and I wasn't with Thomas and -

[She was following him, totally oblivious to the mistletoe still hanging there, clearly looking a bit more panicky as she thought about maybe having to tell Thomas about that night too.]

But this, I mean, we're clearly compatible, but it's - I mean, I'm seriously involved and this is just... just wrong. If it wasn't a curse...

Oh yeah, it was purely innocent and not really all that intense. Not like just now.

[Awkward silence, as he pauses just in front of the door.]

Which...of course is because of the curse. The intensity. And because we're good friends, and that happens to good friends sometimes. Which is why I should go.
