29 Howls: FYI
I'm back at the beach house.
I needed Medea.
If you're looking for me I'm either there in my room or at the garage working on the Bug.

Re: audio;
[He's not making a lot of sense, between the panic and being slightly poisoned. He pounds on the door again.]
Please, Mercy, please get me out!
Re: audio;
Look, Kyle, let me run back to the house. Then I can get something to open the lock.
Re: audio;
[The second word was choked out harshly.]
Don't leave me alone here!
Re: audio;
[She ran a hand through her hair, looking around for a rock or something she could use to smash at the lock. She found one and began pounding away.]

Re: audio;
Kyle... I have to go get something to get you free. I swear I'll be right back.
Re: audio;
...Okay. You have to hurry though. He's poisoned me and I don't know how long I've got left.
Re: audio;
[Mercy shifted back, whimpering a little as her front paws hit the ground. She didn't let it stop her, though, just tore back to the house as fast as she could, shifted back and found her collar with the lock picks. It didn't take long to put it on and shift again and take off to the house.
She knew she was going to pay for this much shifting in a short time, but she couldn't leave Kyle. When she arrived back at the little house she shifted back and pulled the lockpicks off the collar and set to work on the lock.]
Kyle? How are you doing?
Re: audio;
Still here....I really hate Halloween, you know?
Re: audio;
[Mercy worked at the lock, cursing under her breath at it until she finally heard a click under her hands.]
Man... was that it. Kyle... I think, damn... I got it open!
Re: audio;
[Kyle muttered, only half-hearing the words.]
I can't open from this side. No doorknob.
[Which was pretty much the most hysterical thing he'd ever said. Kyle let out a snort of laughter.]
Re: audio;
Hey, Kyle, thank heavens. What happened? Come on, let's get you out of here!
Re: audio;
[He gestured weakly to the furnace in the center of the room.
Re: audio;
[Mercy swallowed hard.]
How the hell are we supposed to get it out of there?
Re: audio;
[Kyle sat up with a labored movement, swaying a little.]
If you take the antidote the furnace locks down and starts burning. You have to burn yourself to get out. I did it once.
Re: audio;
[She shivered, not sure if it was in horror or because she was naked.]
Look, let's just get you to the hospital.
Re: audio;
[He tried to get to his knees but quickly slipped back down again as his vision blurred.]
Mercy...I can't walk. I feel really sick.
Re: audio;
[She looked at the furnace and then back at Kyle and steeled herself.
Fine. Tell me how to do it and how badly I'm gonna get hurt so I can be prepared.
Re: audio;
No! You can't.
Re: audio;
Shut up, Kyle.
I'm not going to let you die. Give me a better choice and I'll take it, but if not, I'm going to do it and if you tell me how maybe I won't get as badly hurt.
Re: audio;
You can't get inside that thing, Mercy.
Re: audio;
[She pushed the hair out of her eyes impatiently and reached down to take hold of him gently.]
I'll help you, hell I'll carry you or drag you back if I have to.
[That would be a sight, naked Mercy dragging Kyle around.]
Re: audio;
[Gives her a weak smile.]
I think you'd have trouble dragging my ass around.
Re: audio;
What am I supposed to do then, Kyle?
Just leave you here again
and mod Jack and the anti-toxin kit? I'm not letting you die!Re: audio;
He'll come. He has this thing...he can get places quickly. Just let's get out of this box, okay?
...You should turn back into a coyote, you must be freezing.
