Guess I'm making up for all those days I barely ate a thing. Today I'm just starving. Everything tastes so good and I just can't seem to get enough.

And I have this craving for jelly donuts. Weird, right?

I'm heading out to get some if anybody needs anything from the bakery.

Well, I have it on good authority that telling a guy you need some time can be taken to mean you're broken up, so... Not that I feel any bitterness about that, of course.

I'd have bet Thomas wasn't that dumb either, especially given our conversations on the subject. But it doesn't matter anyway. It was never meant to be.

I'm guessing we'll just end up with enough leftovers that we won't have to get food for weeks.

At least you get one good thing out of it, less shopping trips for food.

True. And maybe it was nobody's fault. Just a bunch of small things and then some big things that became too much. I know he cares about you a lot though.

... Part of me kind of wonders if he wasn't with me at least partly because with me he knew he had a reliable food source that he could feed from whenever he wanted. Kind of like Samuel only really wanted me because he knew I could give him children. Not that either of them didn't truly care about me, but...

I can't imagine that'd be it with Thomas. I think it hurt him that he fed on you. But I can't speak for him.

I just wonder sometimes, you know? If maybe that was part of why he was so unhappy. That a part of him hated feeding on me and worried about it, while another part loved the easy food. Doesn't matter, though.

I guess it doesn't really matter now. I just can't believe he would have done that.

I don't think he did it on purpose necessarily. But he just told me he'd been using me and hadn't even really realized it, so...

Anyway... going off to meet Tara shortly. That will take my mind off things.
