Has anyone seen or heard from Thomas?

He hasn't answered any of my calls or contacted me and I'm starting to get a little freaked out.




Where are you? What's going on? You've got me all panicked here. I even checked to see if your picture was with those who've gone home.

Come on. I even signed up to do that damned show because you said it would be fun to do together.

Mercy shifted and quickly pulled on the clothes. Then she slid onto the sofa next to him, wrapping her arms around him. "I'm here now. You're not alone."

He turned into her, almost without thought, crying again. He didn't think of what she must think of him, or how weak he must seem. All he could think was how good it felt to have her arms around him, to hear her voice, to smell her.

Mercy just held him, stroking his hair, resting her head against his. All she cared about right now was that she was here with him, that he was hurting, and that he was letting her help. She was willing to stay just like this for as long as he needed, though his obvious pain made her own heart ache.

His sobs quieted after about fifteen minutes, and he allowed himself to settle against her. His voice was still shaking with his cries. "Thank you."

She still held him stroking his hair. "Of course," she said. "You're welcome. You know I would always come to you."

He heaved a sigh and looked down. "This is pathetic."

"So? We all have the right to be pathetic once in a while," Mercy said lightly, still stroking. "We're overdue."

He shook his head. "I'm always pathetic."

"If you were," she said easily, "I wouldn't be with you. I don't do the terminally pathetic."

He gave a slight smirk. "Maybe I'm just really good at hiding it."

"Nah... you're not that good," she said and kissed his head. "Now, terminally emo... That might be closer."
