36 Howls: Mistletoe??

There seems to be mistletoe everywhere, all over the house and even the garage. I tried taking it down in the garage, but everytime I turned around it was back, so I gave up and just let it be. I suppose it is a bit festive.

[ooc: Open for action for anyone who wants to stop by and end up kissing a hot mechanic girl!]

[She followed his gaze.]

What? Oh no. Damn. The mistletoe, really?

Shit.

[Harry looks properly mortified.]

Oh this is bad.

Very, very bad.

[Mercy was still backing up.]

I'm sleeping with your brother for heaven's sake!

[Harry winced.]

Well, hopefully he'll be understanding, but it's probably best if I go.

Yeah, it's a curse.

[Her voice was hopeful, but still uncertain.]

I'm sure he'll understand, right? But yeah, um... maybe come back another time when there's not -

[She waved her hand at all the mistletoe hanging from every conceivable place.]

[Harry scratched his head.]

Well, he sent his last girlfriend to me wrapped in a bow as a thank you, so...

[Her eyes narrowed.]

He what?

[Harry scratched his head nervously.]

It's not like I accepted!

I'm not dating you.

[Her eyes were still hard.]

He better not think he can send me to anyone wrapped in a bow. Not if he wants to retain certain vital parts of his anatomy.

[Harry frantically waved his hands.]

No, no, it's not like that. He wouldn't do that with you.

He'd damn well better not.

[Tyra would be very pleased with just how fierce Mercy was looking right now.]

[Harry is thinking he should probably go now with how scary Mercy looks.]

Iiiiii should probably go.

[She turned her attention back to him, blushing again as she thought of what they'd just been doing.]

Yeah, I think you probably should.

[Harry glanced around, everywhere but at Mercy.]

Hey, and there's always a chance that come midnight, we'll completely forget what happened during this curse.

I'm not sure we could be that lucky.

[There was a rueful look on her face and an intent fascination with the floor.]

Um, so... I'll talk to you later or see you at work, okay?

[Well, so much for hinting about pretending this never happened.]

Have a good one, Mercy.

[Harry gave her a wave and a smile and headed out. This was going to be a weird day, he could tell.]

[Well, she sure wasn't about to bring it up with him again, but she also wasn't going to hide it from Thomas. That wasn't the type of person she was.]

Yeah, right, you too.

[She wasved back distractedly as he left.]
